Main Gallery: Rangel de Marķa : Constant Motion 2

The artist is utilizing the gallery as a working studio space. Between June 1 and August 31st, he will create the second work in his Constant Motion Series. The first work, Constant Motion 1, was exhibited at Monarch Contemporary in January, 2010.
Constant Motion 2 will be a large scale installation where Rangel de Maria will use an image of a container ship to address the temporary qualities of place. The installation will be created with the main image printed on panels and suspended from the gallery wall. The oversize scale invites the viewer to contemplate our transparent and transitory qualities.
